Absolutely the best addiction center/rehab I have experienced. I have been to quite a few and Meridian surpasses them all by far. I have never been taken care of better during a detox before. The staff is absolutely amazing and very caring. They understand that we are going through alot and they help so much with that. I would recommend this facility to everyone that is thinking of getting help. Not only is the staff amazing but....you can bring food and drinks (non-caffeinated), unlike other rehabs & many other things most places ban for some stupid reason.... Meridian is focused (in my opinion) on helping us and making us feel like people instead of just addicts. Their approach is amazing & makes our stay there more comfortable and a much better environment. Thank you so much for everything!

I give this place a solid three based on complaints. Firstly, the well water that comes out of the showers and drinking fountains stains those fountains and doesn't taste right. I am thoroughly convinced long term exposure would give anyone kidney stones. Secondly, there was a client there, from Flint, by the name of Austin T. He was clearly developmentally disabled and his needs could not be met by the institution. He only showered and washed his laundry when directly confronted and nagged. I had a room to myself and he was moved in and his stench was so bad that I was unable to sleep in there the first night and had to go out to one of the dayroom couches. I took my concerns to Administration, Meridian technicians and our substance abuse counselor and everyone just played it off. I chalk up their reason being every extra head being money coming in their institution. He was unable to participate in our groups because of his cognitive limitations which I also pointed out. His mentality appeared very childlike; I did interact with him and he told me during leisure time that he sold his smartphone (what I assume was, he said it used the internet) for a thirty dollar rock of cocaine. Thirdly, you've got a lot of people here who are there for fradulent purposes. About 80% of these people are probation or parole ordered (as I was) or out on bond trying to impress a Judge (who I prays sees through it). In fact, if I was this rehab, I would continue to accept people into detox for bond but not residential. My grievance is this: Meridian needs to start rooming people on bond, parole and probation together instead of who their substance abuse counselor is.... That way it will minimize how they can afflict people who are serious. Truthfully, I was on the fence up until the day I left. The good thing? They feed you well? A little too much starch... But you fill up. Good dietary. The staff truly does care. I feel Administrator Ken Briggs earned this rehab an extra star based on all of our interactions and the fact he gave me his business card upon my discharge. The other Administrator, the Chief Operating Officer Caucasian, I don't know his name which is why I referred to him as such, not trying to be discriminatory.... I have been to a couple facilities in my life, and this is the cleanest, most programed, center I've been to. My impression is that if your serious about getting help there is a lot to get from this program. Most of the staff also seems to have had some personal dealings with addiction in their life at some time. As for the person's comments about "co-ed" DO NOT take that literally! The opposite sex is rarely in mutual situations and watched quite closely. Still referring to notes I took while there when tempted to lose my clean time. This place saved my life!! I read all the post and you have to realize that most of the people that had negative comments didn't really want help in the beginning. It doesn't matter where you go all that matters is that you put the work in that you need to be sober. The staff is amazing. remember we didn't go to rehab because we were doing good things so don't expect to be treated like a baby and be catered to. We chose the life that we led now you have to put the work in to choose the life that you want. I'm 2 years clean and have recently started speaking at Meridian. If you're going there to lower your tolerance or for someone else DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR THE STAFFS TIME!! Get clean for yourself!!

My son went there and had been in recovery since. We place many participants in their program. They saved our family.

I have visited somone here ..they need better drop of times for loved ones or close friends. Also!!! You should be able to have a visit with your loved one and there Main intake Counselor. I was turned down. It a shame, such a short time to get to the root problem. This is a bad rule! Hopefully everything turns out well :)

Amazing rehabilitation facility. I don't care what anyone says the staff goes above and beyond to help clients overcome addiction and prepare them for the outside world. The clinical staff is supurb, especially Dr. Kate Caddy who helped me overcome a lot of my underlying issues that lead me to treatment. It works if you work it, It's worth it!

Idc what ppl say about this place they helped me they saved me the week before I came I was drug out trying to kill myself this place was the only one to take me in they helped me get clean to find myself at first I didn't wanna go but I did it for me and I'm only 20

Believe me I wasn't happy about going again. The 2nd time worked and loved most of the staff
